Heavenly relaxation awaits at the small spa town of Bagno Vignoli . After exploring the Medieval piazza, where a huge stone Roman pool bubbles with warm water, wander down to the new baths, where you can soak in hot chalky water or ease sore muscles under a pounding channelled waterfall, all this while looking up at the impressive castle Rocca D’Orica looming above on the opposite hill. Finish your visit by strolling around the old square with a gelati or with a glass of wine on a café terrace.

Practicalities:
You are required to buy a bathing hat if you are going to swim. There are plenty of hats you may borrow at Cenno.
You will need to pay a deposit of 10 Euros at reception for a locker key.
1 Euro coins are needed to obtain a token to work the showers. The token machine is just outside the changing rooms.

All well worth it as any tiredness dissolves and you can truely unwind into your holiday.
